Beloit College takes great pride in our international students and the contributions they make on campus and in the classroom. Our long standing history and internationally recognized education dates back to 1847, when a group of Yale graduates set forth to open a prestigious college in the mid-western United States. Our first international students arrived at Beloit College in the 1850s and since then, we have continued to build a strong globally-minded education and internationalized campus and community. Today, 10% of our students are citizens of nearly 40 different countries.
One of the greatest aspects of the college for our international students is that they can find support everywhere they turn; our orientation program, host family program, advising, office of international education, and international clubs and organizations make for a strong, welcoming community.
