Beloit College provides a significant amount of need-based student financial aid. Many families qualify with over 95% of our students receiving some kind of institutional grant/scholarship assistance. We combine need-based College grants, merit-based scholarships, loans, work study, and state and federal funds into our financial aid packaging. These awards significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs to assist in making Beloit an affordable choice.
Applying for Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only document required by Beloit to evaluate federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility. When filing the FAFSA, be sure to list Beloit College (code #003835) as a recipient of the analysis. All students should use the 2017-18 FAFSA which will become available on October 1.
The deadline to receive your aid package with your admission decision corresponds to the decision plan deadline.

Determining Financial Need
The FAFSA provides us detailed family information—household size, state of residence, income, taxes paid, assets, number of children in college, other financial responsibilities—used to determine your aid eligibility.
Will I Qualify for Financial Aid?
Beloit College's financial aid program supplements the resources of the student and family in meeting the cost of education through a combination of merit and need-based grants and scholarships, campus employment, and student loans. Use our Net Price Calculator to estimate your cost of attendance at Beloit. While this is only an estimate and is not a precise way to determine whether you qualify for one of Beloit's merit scholarships, we believe it is a helpful start in understanding the financial aid process and aid eligibility.
Beloit College is a proud partner in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program. Veterans eligible for the full benefit (or their dependents to whom benefits have been transferred) can attend Beloit College with nearly all tuition expenses covered through this program.
