Football plus Sigma Chi also Office of Intercultural Affairs
No Boring Students
Calago calls Office of Intercultural Affairs Director Cecil Youngblood, who is also assistant dean of students, his favorite staff member. To Calago, Cecil is an inspiration and a father figure who is always there for him. As for Calago’s favorite Beloit experience? Spring Day, a day off from classes featuring music, entertainment acts, and food vendors on campus.
Spring Day
The media studies and performance major from Avon Park, Fla., enjoys the Intercultural Center on campus. It’s near his dorm and a quiet place to read and do homework. PLUS it’s where he first met Cecil Youngblood at a reception for domestic minority students. Intercultural Center
Calago is a football player, an Intercultural Affairs student worker, a Sigma Chi social chairman, an ACT Ready program coordinator, and the WBCR hip hop director. He’s also involved in theatre productions, Programming Board, and the WBCR executive board.
