Beloit College faculty are focused mainly on teaching, but they are also active scholars, who regularly bring students along as they do their work.
Whether the subject is nanotechnology, Shakespeare, or the politics of the Middle East, our professors are scholars at the top of their respective fields. They conduct research, stage performances, and publish their work, often with students alongside them, pursuing any number of opportunities for hands-on experience, whether it’s co-authoring a paper or doing summer fieldwork.
Beloit professors are mentors who foster intellectual growth in and out of the classroom, guiding students, engaging them, and challenging them to put theory into practice.
You can find out more about our faculty through their individual departments, or read more about some of their projects and courses in our campus news.
