Orientation - January 2019

Welcome!

Orientation is an important step in making the most of your experience at Beloit College. Prior to the start of the semester each fall and spring, we gather students together who come to the college from all across the united states as well as outside the United States. Orientation offers you opportunities to learn about the college and to learn about each other. It also gives you a little more time to settle in to your new college home. All new incoming students are expected to participate fully in the entire orientation program.

What happens during orientation?

During orientation, we'll have a variety of events and activities. You'll learn about many of the resources at the college and meet staff from various offices and departments. There will be sessions on adjusting to academic and cultural life, and a Beloit Buddy Program. You'll meet your academic advisor and register for courses (if you haven't already done so). We'll also explore the community, eat together, and have some fun together. Of course, you'll have lots of opportunities to ask questions.
