Orientation at Beloit College is a program in which new students participate in a variety of activities designed to introduce them to the academic, intellectual and social life at Beloit College. During orientation, students begin to experience life inside a college classroom while learning valuable skills that will assist with their college transition. In addition, orientation includes a number of programs designed to introduce students to the expectations of the College regarding academic honesty, citizenship and leadership, as well as a variety of activities designed to help students meet other members of their class. Programs will also address social awareness in the areas of sexual assault, alcohol, personal responsibility, social identities, and strategies for academic success.
