Study Abroad Programs with Music

I achieved most of my goals by seeking options off campus. I set up gigs and actively sought for areas to both learn and perform music. The choral experience of sight-reading Gregorian chant and four-part Renaissance counterpoint greatly improved my musical ability not in terms of theory, but in performance practice, interval identification, and part independence.

University College Cork, Ireland, Spring 2016

Note: Many universities abroad do not offer music courses in the curriculum. Students studying music may find compatible courses such as in history, culture, and interdisciplinary courses on many study abroad programs. Students with music scholarships are encouraged to stay active in music and performance by joining local music organizations or university music clubs.  Check with the Music department for guidelines before you go abroad.
