My program abroad mostly featured classes relevant to my prospective Cognitive Science major. The program at DIS allowed me to take classes from a well-established Neuroscientist, who presented a viewpoint entirely different from that of the philosophy and psychology professors here at Beloit. I was also in a lab class, which allowed me to gain some research experience, a valuable tool for further study and into my later career.
