My goal is to foster international education through inclusive and versatile engagement with international students, support for purposeful study abroad preparation and reflection, and promotion of diverse opportunities within the college and community. I love getting to know international students and discussing study abroad experiences. I majored in Spanish and minored in Theatre Performance at Beloit, and studied many other disciplines. I studied abroad in Valparaíso, Chile, where I picked up "Chilean" Spanish, wrote and presented a dissertation on Chilean theatre, and played the lead role in a play.
In my free time I enjoy listening to music, practicing my Spanish, and attending Zumba classes.

My job is to help ensure that there is an international dimension to all Beloit College students’ educations. To that end, I oversee our exchange partnerships, work with faculty to internationalize their teaching, help ensure that international students receive the supports they need, and advise students about study abroad opportunities. When working with students, my aim is to empower them to stretch themselves and take ownership of their learning.
When not in the office, I love to wander, whether through cities or the countryside, and to make things and do things.

One of my primary roles is to help Beloit College students explore their options for Study Abroad and/or Domestic Off-Campus study. I also help to facilitate the application process for students studying at one of our exchange partners, and offer advice with all other application inquiries. I am happy to help field student Visa questions, billing questions and Study Abroad Insurance questions.
Outside of the office I enjoy time with my family, traveling and coaching age-group swimming.

I work with Beloit College students to help you identify and prepare for off-campus study opportunities. I also am here if you run into an emergency while abroad and will help you make sense of your experience and sort out your transcript when you return. I coordinate grant programs and annual lectures that help bring the world to Beloit College and that help students carry out projects over the summer.
Outside of work, I enjoy carpentry, music and cycling.
