Dates

• Football Move-in:

• International Students Move-in: Friday, August 15th
• New Student Move-in: Tuesday, August 19th
  • 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., the Wall outside Porter and Blaisdell, rain location is the Maurer Link
• Returning Student Move-in: Friday August 22nd, Saturday August 23rd and Sunday August 24th 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. pick up keys in the Porter Residence Life Office from 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m., after hours go to the Security Office in Pearsons

Checkout

Students are expected to meet with their Resident Assistant (RA) to walk through your room and note any damages. Each room will be reviewed for damages and your room condition form will be signed by you and your RA. RAs will have floor meetings to discuss the check out procedures.

Shuttles

Shuttle services are offered to students between Beloit College and the nearby Van Galder Bus Stop in South Beloit, Illinois.  Students often use this bus route to travel to and from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois.

The shuttles depart and arrive on campus at the corner of College Street and Clary Street by The Wall. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for specific dates. 

In addition, there is a WalMart shuttle that runs every Sunday and Wednesday in the evenings from 6:00p.m.-8:30p.m., just meet at the wall in front of Whitney and Blaisdell.

Storage

The College is in the process of phasing out storage by the end of the 2024-2025 academic year. All student belongings remaining in on campus storage units will be donated or discarded beginning March 2025. Students are strongly encouraged to collaborate and rent storage facilities in groups to safe keep their belongings in protected, insured, and AC conditioned units.
