Grades received abroad appear on transcripts, but are not used to calculate cumulative GPAs. The exception is for courses with Beloit College course codes, such as Cities in Transition and summer block courses
Grades earned through domestic off-campus study do figure into Beloit College GPA calculations.

Study Abroad Ambassadors advocate for study abroad and earn .25 or .5 units of credit for participating in group discussions, undertaking readings and various assignments, and conducting outreach activities through IDST 201: Unpacking Study Abroad. This annual event held during International Education Week provides a forum for students to share the academic, personal, and professional growth that they achieved abroad with the rest of campus.
