We are ready to help you find and fund summer opportunities that take your learning to the next level—research, internships, conferences, and creative projects.
Funding Opportunities through Beloit College
Students may apply for funding for summer opportunities through the Common Grant, which brings together a variety of Beloit-only resources. Students may also apply for other opportunities to specific programs including the Belmark, McNair Scholars, Pakula Biomedical Fellowship, and Summer Duffy Student Research programs.
Step One: Find an opportunity. The Career and Community Engagement staff can help you find opportunities and prepare your application materials. You may apply to the Common Grant once you have identified an opportunity; you do not need to wait until it has been secured.
Step Two: Prepare your application and have it reviewed because summer funding opportunities are competitively awarded. The best way to prepare is to attend one of the Common Grant workshops (see the campus calendar) or fill out the Common Grant Worksheet and make an appointment with Emily Sager. Submit your final Common Grant application through the Common Grant Google Form, not the rough draft worksheet.
Application and Deadline
Applications are due 4:00 PM on the Monday following spring break.
All application materials must be submitted on time.
This is the common grant budget worksheet that you will fill out and turn in as part of your final application packet.
