On May 18, 1980, Mount St. Helens, located just 90 miles from Seattle, Wash., erupted. The PBS documentary, “We’ll Meet Again,” which reunites people who intersected during traumatic events, features Tom Casadevall’69. Tom, a scientist emeritus for the U.S. Geological Survey, helps a women locate the family of his colleague David Johnston, who she credits with saving her life.
