RCA Award winner discusses Mars discoveries on WPR, WCLO

This year’s recipient of the Roy Chapman Andrews Society’s Distinguished Explorer Award was a guest on two local radio stations on Tuesday (Jan. 29).

Dr. John Grotzinger, the lead scientist for the Mars Curiosity expedition, discussed the research currently taking place on the red planet, on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “At Issue with Ben Merens” and WCLO’s “Your Talk Show.”

Grotzinger will discuss his research and discoveries during an award presentation on Friday (Feb. 1) at 4:30 p.m. in Eaton Chapel on the Beloit College campus, 700 College St. The event is free and open to the public.
