Beloit College declares Juneteenth a paid day off

In an email to campus, President Scott Bierman announces starting this Friday, June 19, and going forward, the college will be celebrating Juneteenth on an annual basis as a paid day off.

Beloit Action Plan and the year ahead

For the 2020-21, soon-to-be underway academic year, the college is expecting and planning for students to return to campus for both terms. In mid-June, the college began planning in earnest for a gradual resumption of in-person activities and operations on campus.
