Jeff Suarez studied extensively at University of Wisconsin at Madison where he received a bachelor's degree in Music, as well as a masters in French History. He continued in Madison to attain a doctorate in Musical Arts for French horn performance.
Jeff Suarez is a trained educator, French horn player, and composer. Hailing from Dearborn, Michigan, Jeff moved west to study, receiving his bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees at UW-Madison. Jeff directed the Beloit College Concert Band and the Rock Prairie Presbyterian Choir. He later became a part-time instructor of the French horn, and full time director of the Beloit College French Horn Ensemble, making use of his expertise.
Jeff serves as Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin. Jeff is a co-founder of the BrassaNova brass quintet, and has recently played French horn with the Beloit-Janesville Symphony, the Madison Brass quintet, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and directors numerous other musical groups. Suarez lives in Janesville with his wife, Nova, stepsons Gabe and Connor, son Alex and twin daughters Oriana and Julia.
