Baritone Daniel Ellis maintains an active performing schedule along with a full teaching studio. He has been seen recently in productions put on by Milwaukee Opera Theatre and Florentine Opera. Some of his favorite roles include Papageno (Die Zaüberflöte), Alan (Thank You. Next!-a world premiere of a new opera), and the Beast (Beauty and the Beast). He has also been a featured oratorio soloist, performing bass solos in Handel’s Messiah and John Stainer’s Crucifixion Oratorio. Future performances of his include productions of Amahl and the Night Visitors, Don Giovanni, and Barber of Seville.
In addition to performing, Daniel also maintains teaching studios in Menomonee Falls, WI and Whitefish Bay, WI. He is a member of NATS. He is also a church choir director in Whitefish Bay, WI. He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, lecturing about vocal acoustics.
