Redesign Help

Welcome to the new-look

The Office of Communications and Marketing at Beloit is rolling out the new website design during spring break to give us a chance to troubleshoot issues (with your help) and get used to working in this new space. If you’d like to read more about the new look, check out this story from the Terrarium.

There’s much more to come. But for now, we’re most worried about you. How are you feeling? What are you seeing? How can we help you?

If you’re having problems

First of all, we’re sorry. We knew that was going to happen. Really. If you've visited us before, please try clearing your cache. The best way to accomplish this is to refresh the page while holding down the "Shift" key. If that doesn't work, you’d do us a great service if you’d use this simple online form to tell us what you’re experiencing. With any luck, and we seem to have a lot of it at the moment, we can address that right away.

If you’re feeling lost

The new site has a new, streamlined navigation. What we’ve done is take the site links that had been getting a combined 65 percent of the main page attention (Admissions, Academics, the Terrarium, and Athletics) and make them most prominent. Then, we made the navigation bar follow you everywhere so you could use the mighty search bar (top right) to find what you need.

But maybe you always went to for the “Families” or “Alumni” links. Rest assured that those sites still exist. Search for them or click on the links below.

INFO FOR” Navigation:  Prospective Students / Current Students (this is still on the mainpage by the way, but in a new location—see right-hand side, one feature down) / Families / Job Seekers / Faculty & Staff / Alumni / Donors / Visitors & Community / Squirrels (Just kidding. Hey, we built the old navigation so we can poke fun at ourselves, right?)

If you want to sing our praises

Like what you see? We’d love to hear about it. (And hey, got some ideas? We’ll take those too.) Email us at

If you want in on the action

Great! is almost entirely plowed, planted, and pruned by people with other jobs (that is, faculty and staff from departments and offices across campus). While the new design may require a few changes, we’ve got you covered. We’ll be announcing several Reason-user gatherings in the next few weeks. Stay tuned. (If you are a Reason admin, we’ll call (or email) you soon. Promise.)
