Mariela graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Political Science. With experience as a Digital Marketing Coordinator and Influencer Marketing Associate, she’s excited to bring her passion for marketing to Beloit College. 

When she’s not crafting digital campaigns, you can find her planning her next adventure abroad, trying out all the chai lattes in the area until she finds the perfect one, spending time with family and friends, taking her senior chihuahua Chloe out for walks in the park or reading a book. Her favorite way to spend Saturday nights? Staying in, wrapped in a cozy blanket, a cup of Earl Grey in hand, watching Colin Firth’s Pride and Prejudice (the superior version) with Chloe curled up on her lap.
