The Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS) is an intensive overseas language and cultural immersion program for American college and university students. The competitive program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, is fully funded and includes intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences designed to promote rapid language gains in one of fourteen critical languages.
