[CRIS 310] Black Lives Matter
This upper-division advanced theory course introduces students to discourses of modernity and humanism that exclude black persons from human recognitions and protections. Students interrogate popular media representations that reproduce racial spectacle to ask how black lives can matter, if at all, and to further deliberate how black lives might be sexed and/or gendered.Edit my profile
