[MDST 270] Making Comics Out of Life (W)
Topics in Creative Writing: Making Comics Out of Life (1). In this course, students learn how to express personal stories through the unique combination of words and images known as comics. Hand in hand with creating their own work, students also engage critically with published comics from a broad range of established and emerging creators. By the end of the class, students create a physical, printed booklet of their work that can be shared with others. May be repeated for credit if topic is different. Offered every year. Topics course. Prerequisite: None. Course fee is $100.00.
