    Class of 2001

Luisa Vitor-Fraser ’01 joined Los Angeles Repertory Theatre, a theatre company that provides inner-city youth with performing arts workshops, in the fall of 2002 and has been committed to the Original Works Project since. You can see her in the last episode of Veep on HBO this spring.

Right now, Vitor-Fraser is in the midst of a 200hr yoga teacher training until June; she chose the weekend format so she can still manage running the LA Repertory Theater, teaching Pilates at two studios, going on auditions, and spending time with family and friends. Vitor-Fraser never had a 9-5 job so she was able to pursue things that excited her.

Vitor-Fraser fondly recalls, “While I attribute my bravery and passion to my immigrant parents, my years at Beloit taught me to look beyond what I know, learn from everyone I meet and not to be afraid of doing things differently. I am grateful every day for the atypical life I lead.”
