Description
Beloit College invites applications for a part-time, one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology beginning in August 2023. Ideally, the successful candidate will teach two laboratory courses: environmental or physical geology and paleontology in fall 2023. Alternatively, we will also accept applications to teach a single course. Applicants should make their course preference(s) clear in their cover letter. Geology courses at Beloit College emphasize inquiry-based and other active learning strategies. We especially seek candidates who have demonstrated success in working with diverse populations of students. A PhD is preferred, though applications from advanced ABD applicants will also be considered
