Career Works is seeking a Survey & Data Analytics Assistant for the 2023-2024 School Year. The Survey & Data Analytics Assistant will support Career Works’ assessment by distributing, analyzing, and reporting the annual First Destination Survey, as well as documenting Career Works’ monthly engagement statistics via Handshake, both via Handshake. Students can expect to learn/do - Effective Communication: The Survey & Data Analytics Assistant will report survey results and other assessment outcomes to Career Works professional staff. - Creative Problem Solving: The Survey & Data Analytics Assistant will reach out to graduated seniors via Handshake survey and social media to ensure a minimum 65% knowledge rate (response rate). The Survey & Data Analytics Assistant will also use existing Handshake data to document student engagement with Career Works events, appointments, and resources. - Productive Collaboration: The Survey & Data Analytics Assistant will lead the drafting of a major annual report on the First Destination Survey for distribution to internal partners such as Advancement, Academic Affairs, and Admissions. - Intellectual & Professional Agility: Through this position, the Survey & Data Analytics Assistant will learn how to professionally communicate with a variety of audiences, take initiative and be given support to work independently, and enhance their research and data analytics skills. The Survey & Data Analytics Assistant may choose to initiate a semester-long project investigating a research topic of interest, using the First Destination Survey data available.
