Hydrology and hydrogeology of modern and ancient lakes, sedimentary geochemistry, isotope geochemistry, paleoclimatology, geochronology, basin analysis and field geology. Also, interested on sedimentology, sedimentary processes that connects surficial processes, hydrosphere, biosphere, atmosphere and lithosphere, sediment transport, carbonate and siliciclastic petrology, mineralogy and diagenesis.
