Beloit College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in Chemistry at the rank of assistant professor beginning August 2023. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science and teach two lab-based courses per semester in analytical, inorganic, and general chemistry. We especially seek candidates who have demonstrated success in working with diverse populations of students. This position is an excellent opportunity to teach in a department known for innovative pedagogy.

The successful candidate will also develop a research program that engages undergraduates. This position places strong emphasis on advising undergraduate students in Chemistry and Biochemistry. The candidate will also contribute to all-college programs and serve in leadership roles in campus governance.
