Jennifer honed her writing skills early by checking out as many library books as possible and reading the “middle column” in the Wall Street Journal. She thrived as a Wisconsin-based journalist for 18 years, winning awards (all gathering dust in a box in the closet) for investigative and government reporting, feature writing, and design.
