The position provides academic support to Upward Bound participants via in person tutoring, goal setting, and various academic tips and tricks (studying, note taking, etc.) Responsible for: Tutoring participants in areas of academic need Building academic confidence and relationships with Upward Bound Participants Check-ins with assigned students Supervising participants’ overall engagement and reporting results to staff (making sure participants engaged in coursework, turning in homework, etc.) Aid in the development of academic skills (note taking, study skills, etc.)
