A graduate of Seton Hall University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education/Mathematics, she also has a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision from Montclair State University and her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Wayne State University.

Prior to Chicago State, Bradley spent 11 seasons as the head coach at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she won 126 games and helped produce two All-Americans, 15 all-conference players, seven all-conference defensive team members and four 1,000-point scorers. In 2003, she guided Wayne State to the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance and received the school’s Outstanding Contributor Award in 2003. In 2010, Bradley received the Judy Sweet Award at the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy.

Before Wayne State, Bradley spent seven seasons at Montclair State University, six of them as the head coach. She guided the Red Hawks to Eastern College Athletic Conference championships in 1994, 1997 and 1999. Her 1995 squad won the school’s first New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Seton Hall for two seasons.

Before her coaching career, Bradley was a standout basketball player at Seton Hall University. A four-year letterwinner and a 1984 First Team All-Big East Conference player, Bradley is the all-time leader in field goal percentage; is second in blocked shots; and third in rebounds. She also still ranks in the top 15 in field goals, steals and scoring. She was named the New Jersey Player of the Year in 1984. Her play at Seton Hall lead her to be drafted by the Atlanta Comets of the Women’s American Basketball Association.
