Elsa Schroeder

What would you like to accomplish as a student senator at Beloit?

As a member of the admissions and financial aid committee, I would like to help find and eventually welcome our future class of ’25! I would also like to be a voice for the sophomore class as we tackle this pandemic and the challenges it brings us on every level.

What is your favorite thing about Beloit?

I have a lot of favorite things at Beloit, but I love the anthropology department the most!!!

What makes you laugh the most?

I always get a good laugh out of the campus animals, especially the woodchucks and the raccoons I’ve been seeing recently!

What motivates you to work hard?

I would say I’m motivated by the futures I envision for myself. I’m always planning in my head how I’ll get there… in fact I probably think about the future a little too much!

Who's your hero?

My grandmother is my hero. She is an incredibly gracious woman, even in the face of difficulty; I immensely respect the way she carries herself, in every part of her life.
