Hispanic Cultures through Writing
In this writing intensive content-based course, students focus on the writing process [i.e., prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, rewriting] as they practice various types of writing in Spanish: e.g., summary, description, narration, expository, and persuasive. Students study advanced grammar points and discuss both literary and non-literary texts as a basis for writing. Participation in Spanish-language activities outside the classroom and/or in the local Latino community is expected.
