Topics in Introductory Biology: Human Biology

The anatomy and basic normal functions of the human body with consideration of development, genetics, immunology, endocrinology, and related molecular, cellular, and ecological concepts, and an emphasis on scientific principles and experimental methods. Students design, perform, analyze, and report on small research projects. Laboratory work requires dissection.

Course Format Description

A mixture of synchronous and asynchronous online activities. Two remote asynchronous lectures each week. Synchronous labs and problem solving sessions several times per week. In person laboratory sessions done in a rotating fashion, but can be made available for students that are off campus.
