Academic Specialties and Other Interests

I am a professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, and I have been teaching at Beloit since 2010. At Beloit College I teach a variety of Spanish language courses as well as the literature of the Spanish Middle Ages. Outside my work I love to read, write, take walks, and spend time traveling abroad with my family. As often as possible, I like to share my interests with my students. As a result, in the summer 2021, I will be co-directing the International Beloit Blocks in Spain and Morocco. To study abroad is one of the great opportunities that we offer at Beloit College and I encourage all of you to experience your own journey.

I enjoyed serving for the past 5 years as Advisor to the Exchange International students. Now, I am very excited to serve as your instructor for AMP. I am looking forward to meeting you and learning more about your academic and extracurricular interests. My main goal is to make sure that each of you will have a wonderful, successful, and unforgettable experience at Beloit College!
