Visiting Assistant Professor - Media Studies
Beloit College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to teach two courses in television production during the spring 2020 semester, an introductory broadcast production course and an advanced practicum. The advanced practicum is a small, workshop-based class in which students work together with their instructor to gain hands-on experience producing an array of projects. Both classes will meet in a newly renovated studio in Beloit College’s Center for Entrepreneurship in Liberal Education in downtown Beloit. The successful candidate will have significant professional experience in television production. Candidates who possess a master’s, doctorate, or are A.B.D. in media studies, communication, journalism, or a related field are preferred.
