Majors: Psychology and Dance, Graduated with Departmental Honors, Summa Cum Laude

Before graduating from Beloit, Maggie was awarded the Chavey Family Endowed Award in Dance, the Delta Psi Delta Prize for Outstanding Female Theatre Students, and the Martha Peterson Prize for Best Exemplar of Beloit’s Liberal Arts Tradition. Since graduating, Maggie has danced for companies Khecari, The Dance COLEctive, Ayako Kato/Art Union Humanscape, The Space Movement Project, The Inconvenience, and The LIVE ANIMALS Performance Collective, in addition to performing in works by noteworthy dance makers Shirley Mordine, Liz Burritt, Colleen Halloran, Jeff Hancock, Kate Corby, and Erin Carlisle Norton. Maggie was recently recognized as one of “5 Chicago Dancers to Observe in 2015”. Currently living in Oak Park, IL, Maggie serves as the Studio Coordinator for OuterSpace Studios in Wicker Park. After working for seven years in creative, strategic, and management capacities for a Chicago-based advertising agency, Maggie will be pursuing a Masters of Science in Child Development at the Erikson Institute starting in the fall of 2015.
