Josh Moore is the director of the Center for Immersive and Experiential Learning Opportunities (CIELO) and the co-director, with Dr. Atiera Coleman, of the Weissberg Program in Human Rights and Social Justice. 

The Center for Immersive and Experiential Learning Opportunities (CIELO) hosts Beloit College’s summer courses, spring break immersion trips, pre-college programs, and continuing education opportunities.

Josh has worked in international education, intercultural communication, conflict transformation, and experiential learning since 1997, when he began working with the Minnesota International Center. Since then, he has served four years as Associate Director for Study Abroad and Communication with the ACI Baobab Center, in Dakar, Senegal, and eleven years as Associate Director of International Education at Beloit College. He is a certified conflict mediator and works with students and colleagues on constructive and restorative ways of approaching conflict and harm. 

Josh holds a BA in International Relations & Development from the University Minnesota - Twin Cities, and a master’s degree from the Joan B. Kroc Institute of International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame.
