A Beloit College alumnus, Professor Morello (’85) is the director of CELEB and also teaches courses in entrepreneurship. Professor Morello provides one-on-one mentoring to students who wish to start a business during their time at the college and those who need access to an office, financial resources, and other amenities through CELEB.

Professor Morello also serves as co-advisor (with Professor Laura Grube) of Belmark Associates, a student-run market research company and co-advisor of Maker Lab, a student-led prototyping lab.

Previously, Professor Morello was a principal of Beloit Beverage Company, a wholesale beer distribution and logistics company. More recently, he was a founding board member and principal of City Brewery, the nation’s largest dedicated contract manufacturing and brewing company. He has pursued his passion for entrepreneurship as an advisor to gener8tor, a nationally recognized business accelerator, and as an angel investor.

Professor Morello is active in his community as a board member and treasurer of the Beloit Professional Baseball Association (the Beloit Snappers, a minor league affiliate of the Oakland A’s) and a board member of the Greater Beloit Economic Development Committee.
