Alpha Sigma Tau (Delta Nu Chapter)

Alpha Sigma Tau is a national sorority founded in 1899. We are an academic sorority that holds the values of grace, respect, intellect, connections, and excellence in everything we do. The Delta Nu chapter at Beloit College was founded in 1999 by 18 women focused on cultivating a safe space filled with people of similar morals.

Our community of siblings also values friendship, professionalism, philanthropy, and academic excellence. We give our members opportunities to better ourselves and our community. We hold opportunities for community service through local programs such as Bookleggers. We regularly update our organizations affiliations with programs that resonate with the current collegiate siblings.

The benefits of membership are countless, but some are growing your professional network, receiving access to AΣT specific scholarships, and gaining leadership opportunities.

On top of the fruitful opportunities for personal growth, by far the most valuable experience is our inviting community of siblings. We work to be an inclusive community that strives to be anti-racist and gender inclsuive. All non-greek affiliated nonbinary, gender nonconforming or female-idenfiying Beloit College students are welcomed to join our organization.
