[THDA 306] Acting: Performance Styles
Introduction and practice in the styles of performance appropriate to the literature of major dramatic periods and genres. Two styles will be covered each term. Styles covered may include: Greek, Elizabethan, Restoration, Commedia dellâ€™arte, MoliÃ¨re, Farce, Absurdist, 19th-century Realism, Expressionism, and television/film. May be repeated for credit if topic is different.

Prerequisite: Theatre and Dance 106 and 206, or consent of instructor.
Offered every fourth semester.
