[THDA 207] Connecting and Contextualizing Technique, Jazz Dance

This course must be taken concurrently with any 200 or 300 level jazz dance technique class. Students engage in an individual project related to that style of technique to explore the breadth of the style’s impact on dance in general and its place in the broader cultural context. This may include but is not limited to: presentations, papers, and creative work such as performing in December Dance Workshop Performance or Chelonia.
