Vinyasa in Sanskrit means “to place in special way.” This class will use breath to move from posture (asana) to posture, giving special attention to safe alignment through verbal cueing and hands-on adjustment from Dr. Johnson. We will begin each class with a series of Sun Salutations (Suryra Namaskar) to prepare the body to complete dynamic and ever-changing asana sequences. Each class will incorporate breath work (pranayama) and guide students in cultivating a quiet mind. This class is open to new and seasoned yogis alike. Space is limited to 10 spaces per class.
