Beloit has opened my eyes to new ways of thinking about learning and applying that learning to the world. When I arrived at Beloit, I assumed, like many other international students, I would just study economics. But here at Beloit, I have been able to do so much more.

I am very proud that I will graduate with an international relations major, but I have also expanded my interests in other directions. For example, I will complete a second major in Japanese language and culture and have valued taking many course in Beloit’s Asian Studies program. Asian Studies at Beloit has made me more interested in my own background as an international student from China.

Beloit has given me the space and time for intellectual reflection on who I am and how I want to lead my life.
