Helping clubs get started and get funding
Caleb Nghe ’20 gets a kick out of helping clubs get started and get what they need to be successful.
As head of the club organization and oversight committee (affectionately called “COO”, rhymes with Moo), Caleb helps new clubs navigate the process of getting established and helps existing clubs secure funding, stay on the right side of some rules, and have health memberships.
After his own experiences with COO as a club member of the Beloit Ultimate Frisbee Family (BUFF), the Outdoor Environmental Center (OEC), and the Green Team, Caleb was elected COO leader last year and jumped right in, reorganizing the committee into sub-committees that do specific work needed to keep clubs on track, and running a weekly meeting where the subcommittees get together.
