The time is now to vote!
It has been humbling for me to be among students who enthusiastically participated in the Why Bother, Wisconsin? events in the weeks leading up to Election Day. Democracy owes its conscience, and essence, to the people who nurture and participate in it.
The best way I can think of to do that is to vote. If you have not done so already, the time is now!
Cast your ballot for the candidates who represent your values, and will be thoughtful problem solvers, innovators, and trustworthy leaders.
On Election Day — in just a few minutes of your time — you will make the indelible mark of your commitment to our American democracy.
Among other things, you will be casting your vote in favor of the right to vote as the essence of democracy.
