Don’t miss your flu shot
Flu season is right around the corner. When it comes to the flu, there’s no better way to defend yourself, your family, and your community than by making sure you receive a flu shot. Those enrolled in the Beloit College Health Plan will have the flu shot cost covered at 100%.
“Having just spent the better part of the past three years in a pandemic of a respiratory virus nature, it probably comes as no surprise to you that the influenza virus is quite easily transmitted in close quarters by respiratory means, and that the impending winter weather moving us indoors will do nothing to lessen that risk. But what will lessen that risk? A flu shot,” said Rachel Bergstrom, Emergent Infectious Diseases Instructor.
Seasonal flu shots will once again be offered to faculty and staff by way of a drive through Flu Shot Clinic. Beloit Occupational Health nursing staff will administer the flu vaccines via a drive up process at their facility located at 1650 Lee Lane. Beloit Occupational Health Directions-Google Map
