Gaby Scott’07
After graduating from Beloit College I moved to Chicago and continued to develop my practice experimenting with super 8 and 16mm film, interning for a local filmmaker as well as coordinating production for Reeling Film Festival.
In 2010, I was accepted into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Visual and Critical Studies graduate department where I completed a two year Masters program. I produced a thesis that explored food studies and affect theory with an accompanying video installation. After graduating from SAIC I moved to San Francisco and am currently working as a video editor for Avocados and Coconuts, a San Francisco based content collective production company. I spend my free time working on food projects, surfing, and enjoying the beautiful Bay area
