After leaving Wisconsin, I. V. Rogers returned to their hometown of Chicago. Finding work as an apprentice in a conservation lab known as Poster Plus. Rogers spent the next few years learning how to mount and restore vintage posters. From original signage from the Chicago Columbian Exposition to original prints from Alphonse Mucha, Rogers had the pleasure of working on wide array of vintage posters and small works on paper. After leaving Poster Plus Rogers started working for a small furniture restoration company. They have since started working for Hogsalt Hospitality and the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago to focus on community out reach and creating safer spaces for young women.
