Ellie Daniels’13

Ellie Daniels’13 has created infographics for the organization responsible for the ongoing loon research (40+ years) throughout New Hampshire.

Before beginning a graduate program in Natural Resources at the University of New Hampshire, I worked for the MN Department of Natural Resources and was able to create my first infographics about native fish species.

In the near future I will be working as a loon biologist in New Hampshire and have already made arrangements to create infographics for the organization responsible for the ongoing loon research (40+ years) throughout the state. My goal is to spread the hard work and findings of the Loon Preservation Committee to a broader audience who may otherwise by unaware or uninformed about the science happening literally in their backyard.

Beyond this summer I will continue bridging the gaping abyss between the scientific community and the non-scientific community through the more universal language of art, one infographics at a time.
