Travis Price, a Business Economics major from Wylie, TX, has accepted a position as an insurance agent with US Health Advisors back in his home state. Travis explains, “Healthcare is something that is important to me and always will be. I’m excited to help others have access to affordable health insurance.” Travis found the opportunity through Indeed. “It was me and 100 other applicants. We had 3 interviews, and I was one of 2 applicants to be hired!”

We’re not surprised that Travis landed the job. While at Beloit College, Travis was a captain of the Field and Track team, a member of Sigma Chi, and, importantly, interned with a local financial advising company, Life Circle, where he worked as a special project assistant. Life Circle is owned by Prudence Harker, a Beloit College alumna class of 1966.

Travis is thankful for his Beloit College education. “The Economics Department set me up with every skill I need for this job. All the class work, interactions with professors and peers, they were the building blocks that set me up for this position. I will forever be grateful for it!” Congratulations, Travis!
